About Our Soy

Soybean fabric is a sustainable fiber being touted as a less expensive and more environmentally friendly alternative to cashmere. Soybean is sustainable because it uses what would have been waste and turns it into something useful, namely soybean fabric. The production of soybean protein fiber is harmless to the environment, as the accessory agents used are not toxic, while the residue after the protein extracted can be recycled and used for animals as feed.

  • Antibacterial – Naturally bacteria resistant elements are integrated in the fiber’s molecular structure, which makes the fabric resistant to certain types of bacteria.
  • Durable - Soybean protein fiber is more durable than that of wool, cotton and silk and only lower than that of polyester fiber.
  • Moisture wicking - Wicks moisture away from the skin.
  • Absorbs UV Rays for safe protection against the sun.

Soybean fabric is ultra soft, smooth and light with a silky sheen. Caring for soybean fabric is easy, machine wash in gentle cycle with a mild detergent and hang dried.

Each blanket comes tied with a ribbon and a tag printed on 100% recycled paper that GROWS! Plant it under a thin layer of soil and water a little bit each day. “Watch your baby grow as the wildflowers bloom.”
